WoW - A Character History

Diamanta was my first toon ever. I couldn't quite get into the swing of being a priest. Maybe a week into playing her, I created...

Chouette. I love playing a feral druid. Because there are 3 terrestrial forms, I never got bored..well..rarely ever got bored playing her. She's the only toon I took up to 60 back in the day before Burning Crusade.

These were originally on Lothar which got too full. They moved to Area 52. They were both in Tainted Legion and then Casualty and I think there was a guild in between those two. Can't remember at the moment.

On Lothar / Area 52, I had several other toons - A troll warrior named Shazzbot, an undead mage named Spamtomato, and a human paladin named Sherlyndria. I kinda regret deleting the warrior since I'm somewhat playing again. Ah well.

~~~
During the job from hell period in GA, I found out one of my co-workers played WoW, but he was Alliance and on the Shadowmoon server. I only created the pally to see what they were like. I did want to play with him and his wife for a bit so I created...
The only Alliance character I could really stomach playing was a Night Elf Druid.
~~~
Now, I am on Scarlet Crusade playing another Tauren druid. We'll see how she fares.

Done, done, done
It's over. I have stopped hiding out in the basement. Pooky and Pumpkin are allowed back down now and I think we've spent a good amount of time playing to make up for my 2 weeks of neglect.

I'm not really sure how I did in my classes. When it comes to the concept of grad school as a whole, I know I'm not longer an A only student. I just don't have the focus or the desire to be that type of student anymore. For me to be focused on the A means that everything else would suffer, and it's just not worth it. What I think I will do over the summer is do preliminary work to make next semester a bit easier. Especially since about 12 hours out of my week is sucked up by commute time to and from school.

Now I'm back at work and bored. Even though the last two weeks were not very full of sleep but full of programming and paper prep and writing, at least I wasn't bored. I enjoyed a lot of it, actually.And now I'm back in cubicle land full of boredom and stuff that HAS to get DONE...NOW. That part isn't the problem...it's the part where I feel like my brain is dying that gets me. Technically, I'm out of a job on 5/31. The wonderful world of consulting - high pay rate balanced by inconsistent job permanence. It actually suits me fine as a student. I might have an internship for my next gig...guess we'll see.

In other news:
  • Just found out I have a phone interview request for my internship.
  • FormerBlondieā„¢, her (currently unmonikered) gal pal and I are going ghost hunting in PA later on in the summer. We're staying a couple of nights here
  • The Renaissance festival is in town! Doubt we'll go though. Guess we'll see
  • I'm actually going to getting back into WoW and playing with a couple of class buddies. This could be pretty dangerous. At least there's a tie in to my studies and the potential to maybe get a paper or two written out of it

..and the result of the last week of school is...
Technically, it's the last week of class. Finals week is next week but mercifully (?) I only have papers and projects due. ..papers in the 20 page-ish realm.

I do have some final homework my brain is rejecting, hence the slogan.

An Engineer's Guide to Cats

Not only is Paul Klusman funny, he's got a big heart when it comes to kitty cats. He's used his YouTube account to help find homes for two kitties, Woody and Reginald. Pretty awesome.
